The actress is one of many celebrities to have received a hair transplant in the last year.
Alexandria said she received her transplant in October 2015.
She was treated by Dr. Roberta Ramey, who worked with the actor in the past, and underwent surgery.
The procedure was done on a custom-built unit at Dr. Rameys New York Hospital, which she said had the largest number of transplant units in the country.
“I was very fortunate to have a professional who knew exactly what they were doing,” she said.
“I was really excited and grateful for the opportunity to get the surgery done, and I’m so grateful to Dr. Michael and Dr. Dr. Karp.”
Alexandre’s transplant was done in conjunction with her agent and a New York-based hair transplant center, called Karp’s Hair.
Alexandrie said she was lucky to be able to receive a transplant from her mother, and said she is grateful that people have been able to help others.
“I’m so thankful that so many people have taken the time to know me and support me.
It’s just been an incredible journey, and one that has been really rewarding,” she told MTV News.
For Alexandrie, the success of the hair transplant will hopefully inspire others who are struggling with their hair loss to try and make a full recovery.
“It’s a beautiful and empowering experience to have this experience and to be given the opportunity, as it were, to be part of something that will hopefully allow you to live your life to the fullest,” she added.
The actress said she has been able not only to see her hair grow back, but also have new friends and family.
“So, for my family, I have so many great friends, and so many amazing people,” she explained.
“There are so many beautiful people in this world and I’ve got to take care of them.”
