Portland, Oregon – Hair transplant center Trustpilot announced on Thursday it has received a new donor hair transplant for a woman in her 60s.
The transplant was performed on March 17 in Portland, Oregon.
The woman was identified as Nancy Hager.
“This is a very special day for the family,” said Robert P. Johnson, Trustpitcher president and CEO.
“This is truly a miracle.
The surgery was done by the renowned surgeon, Dr. Paul P. Narduzzi.
Dr. Nardi is an expert in hair transplantation and has performed over 150,000 transplants worldwide.”
Dr. Nardy’s operation is the first transplant in Oregon, according to Trustpitter, which will continue to offer hair transplant services.
Hager was originally born in Ohio in 1959.
Her father, Paul, was a retired US Army colonel who spent time in Vietnam, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
She lived in Portland for many years before returning to her home in Portland.
In 2009, she was diagnosed with a type of rare genetic disease known as Melanoma-Associated Hair Loss Syndrome.
After undergoing chemotherapy, she suffered a severe loss of hair that made it impossible for her to maintain her hair-like look.
She developed a severe, debilitating form of the disease, which led to her amputation of her left hand in 2015.
After undergoing surgery, she began losing her hair again in the early 2020s.
Her hair had started to fall out at the roots of her scalp, leaving her with only two sides.
After a successful stem cell transplant, her hair returned to normal in the spring of 2021.
“She is a great example of the many ways we can help people,” said Johnson.
“The transplant has been a blessing for her and she is truly thankful to be a part of this wonderful process.
Her family and her friends are grateful to her for their time, attention and support.”
A new hair transplant is the next step in a process that will eventually bring new life to the patient’s hair.
She will undergo hair transplant at a Trustpiter clinic in downtown Portland.
